Shortly Description :

Plastic PVC FM4442 contact IC card is programmable and read only memory card, with 256 X 8 bit EEPROM storage unit, except for PSC (Personal Security Code) storage area, all units are readable.
The first 32 bytes have a write protection function. Before the write protection is effective, all cells can be erased and written.
The write protection bit can only be programmed once and cannot be rewritable. The communication protocol ISO 7816-3, it is compatible ISO 7816.

FM4442 Main Features :

Pls see the 256 bytes of  programmable read only memory (EEPROM) size mainly divided into sectors in the following :

•  26 bytes for card manufacturer data
•  2 bytes for card issuer reference
• 4 bytes for card identification data
• 224 bytes of main user data
• 3 bytes are used for error counter and card secret code area

     -Access to the memory is protected by a 3-byte secret code and is only used for data writing
     -Read data for free (except PIN)
     -Answer reset according to ISO 7816-3 standard
     -Data retention up to 10 years
     -Irreversible byte write protection of the lowest 32 addresses
     -20 °c + 50 °c working range
     PSC code: FFFFFF
