A Magnetic Stripe Card, commonly here with magnetic stripe on back side, and with PVC laminated together.
Usually the magnetic ID card have two different read ways, one is dipped into a slot and is read by swiping fast past a magnetic reading head. 
And the other one is read by ic chip reader. 
Nowaday Magnetic ID Cards are also accepted for retailers. Such as hotel key card, school id card,company attendance time card, amusement, event ticketing card...

These magnetic stripe ID card contains the credit card account number, name, expiration date, service code, and card verification code and so on.
