At What Frequency Does RFID Work ?

Typically RFID systems operate at LF 125KHz, HF 13.56Mhz, UHF 860~960Mhz.

The LF frequency band provides a short read range of 10 cm;  HF Frequency offers read range of 1 m; the biggest advantage of UHF is the long reading and writing distance, generally 3～5 m, and the farthest can reach 15 m. It main depends on RFID reader and antenna and environment.
